An opening post can keep getting quoted long after someone has corrected it further down the page. A new reader may never reach the reply that explains what was wrong or uncertain.
For Anadrol discussions, would you rather see a short dated correction in the opener, or leave the opener untouched and link to the follow-up?
Keeping the original wording visible has value, but so does making a correction easy to notice. This is about readable discussion history, not recommendations or personal-use claims.
